This adorable couple did not have the standard courtship… Most folks meet, date, fall in love, then get married, but Katie and Ryan met, dated, broke up for five years then got back together. These two just seem to fit – they are both funny and adorable, light-hearted and serious, her the yin to his yang. And yet I saw a different side to them all together when we met to shoot their engagement session at Hermann Park in Downtown Houston a few months back.
It was an extremely hot, humid Sunday afternoon in Houston, but not one complaint was issued from either of them, not even after multiple clothing changes (in a vehicle) and the soon to be groom wearing a very thick sweater. And they even danced!… at the water fountain in the middle of the round about in the hot afternoon sun. Ahh…. love in the afternoon never seemed so right!
