The girls giggled and chatted amongst themselves as we waited for everyone to arrive. The rain had held off and the sun was peeking out through the willowy trees at Bay Oaks Country Club. The old spanish moss, hugging the tree limbs, moved gently with the wind. It was a perfect setting to highlight these girls’ senior year at Clear Lake High School as members of the award-winning Lake Cheerleaders.
Senior year is such a special time in high school. The end of the road and the prospect of so much yet ahead.
Sydney, Nicole, Sami, Katie, Taylor, Cassidy, Grace, Elizabeth, Morgan and Amy… your spirits are wild and free, as much as you are all graceful and independent. Thank you for your laughter, jokes, funny faces, and all around good nature. The best is yet to come for you amazing women!
