November 14 started out as a chilly overcast day here in the Texas gulf coast, but at the Kemah Boardwalk spirits were high as over 2,000 walkers/runners met up for the annual Heart Walk benefitting the American Heart Association. The 2015 event was chaired by Steve Skarke with Kaneka North America and Rebecca Lilley of Memorial Hermann Southeast. The event was sponsored by Hunt & Hunt, LTD; LyondellBasell and Houston Methodist San Jacinto. The gorgeous day brought in a total of $385,145 to help in the fight against cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
