Steps to evaluate your personal brand…

Write down the “brand look” you think others currently see and what you think your “brand look” says about you.

Do you put an effort in how you look?  Are you trying to set yourself apart from others, from your competition?

Look at professional photographs of yourself over the past 6 months.

What style do your pictures show?  Are they modern, vintage, frumpy, etc?

Write down the “brand look” that you’d like to have and how you would like to be perceived by the world.

Make a mood board either in from magazines or start a pinterest board of outfits and looks that speak to you and reflect how you want to be perceived.

Take control of your image and wardrobe.

Go thru your closet and get rid of items that you no longer wear, items really outdated, items that look really used.   Make a list of staple wardrobe items that you want to add and where you may find them.   Look for sales at stores that may carry the items.

Shop for updated, quality clothes that are appropriate for your figure and your lifestyle/profession.

Start buying items of good quality.  Also make notes of certain outfit pairings that you really like and keep those handy so you can easily reference.  Start planning your wardrobe for the week or month based on your work schedule, etc

Your personal brand will come to life in the ways you consistently and strategically behave, promote yourself and present yourself to the world.
