She is a mover and a shaker. She CAN seriously move mountains and help heal communities with her smile, her laughter and her genuine loving personality, as she quickly demonstrated just after the horrific shooting at Santa Fe High School earlier this summer.
She travels the country now as a premier chef after appearing on Food Network’s Cutthroat Kitchen in 2016 and finishing as a finalist. But, to us all here in Southeast Texas, she is Galveston’s hometown girl, Chef Mary Bass. Mom, wife, daughter, cook, chef… she does it all with humility, love, grace and laughter. Oh and the most incredible food!

Chef Bass has been recently selected as one of the Top 40 Under 40 by the Galveston County Daily News.
