Omaha Nebraska Wedding: Ashlee + Mike

Maybe they did things a little out-of-order…  Maybe they are die-hard Cornhuskers fans…   Maybe the day started off cloudy and rainy…  And just maybe they are very much in love.  All that sums up this bride and groom!  Oh but did I forget to mention their absolutely adorable little boy?!

The beautiful early evening wedding took place in a little historic church in old town Bellevue, Nebraska just outside Omaha.  The bride wore a new strapless gown but chose to wear her mother’s veil as the something old.   Something new and something old summed up the theme of this wedding mixing old town charm with new family and friends and a new beginning.

The groom watched Nebraska football with his best man as they slowly prepared for the ceremony.   The little boy napped in his parents big bed as a hectic household collided around him trying desperately hard not to wake him.  The minister was the same minister who baptised the little boy a year earlier.  It was all about family on this very special day~!

The reception was held at the groom’s parents house in the country with a huge backyard, tents, twinkling stars, good food and great friends and family.   Old and young all joined together to wish a warm best wishes to the newly married couple and their sweet little boy who danced the night away underneath the twinkling stars…
