Oh what a night!! Thursday night, Dec 6, League City’s elite and most generous citizens stepped out to support Interfaith Caring Ministries Annual Festival of Trees Gala and Fashion Show. The annual fundraiser, and the largest, for ICM was held at the South Shore Harbour Resort & Conference Center on the banks of Clear Lake.
The hotel was filled to the brim with decorated trees by locale businesses and a real-life, and very large, gingerbread house baked and assembled by the chef at the hotel. This was my first year as producer of the annual fashion show and it was also the first year that the gala and fashion show were combined into one event.
Models rocked it on stage to live music performed by Clear Lake’s own group, The Navigators. Clear Lake residents and a few local celebrities strutted down the catwalk in fashions graciously supplied by local boutiques, The Clotheshorse, Jill’s Fashions and Bridals, Ella Zane, Think Twice Fashions, That’s Haute, and Back Bay Boutique.
