It’s all about Chou…
This sweet little fella was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer the first week of October. I photographed him just a couple of days later on a beautiful, sunny Monday morning at a local park. I met his owners, a retired couple, and their son (off work due to the govt shutdown) for an hour-long session and then we sat in park and chatted. Sadly, Chou passed away at the end of October.
Lymphoma Cancer spreads very quickly once it hits the lymph nodes in the neck – dogs usually last 4-6 weeks. One in three dogs will be diagnosed with canine cancer of some kind and out of those diagnosed over 50% will die. To find out more and how you can help go to the National Canine Cancer Foundation.
