An end of an era and the beginning of a new chapter…  Marissa had just finished up eighth grade and we celebrated with a shoot on the historic Strand District of Galveston Island.   Her brother got in a few shots for mom, then off he went to hang out with dad.   The Strand was crowded and several tourists stopped to comment on how much Marissa looked like a Disney princess character.   And indeed she did!  Her light-colored dress was set off beautifully against the old architecture of historic Galveston Island.
