Oh friends, today I am sharing something I get asked about so much… how I got started as a photographer. I will be the first to say that the journey was not easy or without bumps (and a whole lot of stress) along the way. However, it was a journey that has inspired me and filled me with joy as I look back at each and every client that I have worked with.

From my love of fashion ads as a young girl growing up on a tiny farm in Tennessee to the hot, blistering sun beating down on me at my on-location shoots in Memphis and now in Houston, the photography journey has filled me with excitement and yearning for more.
