To be completely honest this was my last photoshoot before the stay-at-home order was issued by both Harris and Galveston counties. In the time of social distancing, this shoot went off without a single issue. No traffic, no one on the streets to get in the shots and, by all accounts, a perfect warm (but not too warm), breezy day on Galveston Island.
Evan is finishing up his senior year at Clear Springs High School in a way he, nor his parents ever imagined. Spring break was extended, then schools made the decision to delay in person classes until at least May 4. Which means, the normal spring high school activities like powder puff football, prom and possibly even graduation have been cancelled or may be cancelled. Evan’s senior year still had fall football where he was the kicker and soccer, but without a tournament.
So, on a beautiful balmy Galveston day, his mother and I made his senior photo shoot as exciting as possible (well, at least as a senior boy will allow).
