Clear Creek ISD Board of Trustees ~ At Risk Student Program

“Every kid is one caring adult away from being a success story”

– John Shipp

Last evening, I was invited to the Clear Creek Independent School District’s Board of Trustees regular meeting.   The main presentation for the night was the district’s At-Risk Assessment program.  The facts were astounding!  Clear Creek has at least 1100+ students classified as technically “homeless“.   But homelessness, is not the only contributing fact to classify a student as “At-Risk”.  CCISD uses state criteria to identify At-Risk students.  Find the guidelines here.

Many thanks to Jeanne de Vezin and her amazing staff who push every day to help all of the At-Risk students in the area.
